– Dana White was on the Dan Patrick show today guaranteeing that UFC would be an Olympic sport as well as a major college sport one day. He says they are not in competition with boxing or pro wrestling and all three can coexist. He said boxing is full of problems, but he’s not one of them.
– As if there wasn’t enough problems for wrestling fans in Denver this week, there were apparently issues with the RAW ticket refunds through Ticketmaster. The Ticketmaster service charge was not refunded, leaving some unhappy campers.
– To follow up on a previous story about Jose Canseco doing a professional fight: He arrived in Japan and appears to be going through with a fight at the DREAM 9 event on Tuesday against a 7-foot-2 professional fighter named Choi Hong-man. Canseco said he is going to take Choi down and submit him in the fight which the odds for are listed at 50-1.
– Howard Stern was reading an advertisement for WWE 24/7 Classics Ondemand on his show and botched pronouncing several names such as “Rye Mysterio” and “Eddie Gweriro”.
