Yahoo Sports ran a great article today on Brock Lesnar’s antics from UFC 100 last night and Dana White’s reaction to them. They report that Lesnar apparently made over $3 million for the fight, and after his post-match tirade, he was taken into a bathroom by a furious Dana White and given a strict talking to. In the article, regarding Brock’s speech White is quoted as saying:
“Straight WWE. Brock went so far over the top tonight I can’t even describe it. I don’t think in the history of the UFC we’ve ever done anything like that. With women in here you don’t want to know what I said [to Brock after the fight.]
“What he’s doing out there tonight is not real,” White said. “You don’t have to act like something you’re not. This isn’t the WWE. I don’t ask these guys to act crazy so we get more pay per views. That’s not the business I’m in. Brock hasn’t made himself very loveable. They hate Brock.”
On who he hopes Brock’s next opponent will be: “Eventually Fedor is going to be here,” White said. “I want Fedor. We’ll end up getting that deal done and then we’ll do Brock vs. Fedor and we’ll do a huge fight.”
You can watch Lesnar’s post-fight apology and judge for yourself how sincere it was at this link.
